How to convert Blu-ray to ProRes for better editing in Final Cut Pro X

Step 1: Load Blu-ray movie.

Insert the Blu-ray disc into your Blu-ray drive. Start up the program on your computer, click “File” > “Load Disc” option to add Blu-ray disc movies to the program.
